Dr. Gizem Kaplan was born in Bartın, Türkiye, in 1995. She graduated from Bartın Science High School in 2013 and from Bülent Ecevit University Faculty of Dentistry in 2018.

She completed her specialization in Endodontics at Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics, in 2023.

Her clinical interests include root canal treatments performed under magnification, root canal retreatments, vital pulp therapies, restorative treatments, management of dental trauma, management of resorption and treatment of complex endodontic cases.

She has published her specialty thesis and scientific studies on the use of apex locators in endodontics. She is also the author of the English book chapter titled “Clinical Management of Internal Resorptions” and the Turkish book chapter titled “Promising Treatment Approaches in Endo-Perio Lesions.”

She has delivered oral presentations and presented posters at national and international congresses and symposiums.

She is good at English.
